Toyota Land Cruisers Skipping Traffic Like a Train in Russia

Yeah, the Toyota Land Cruiser is ugly but it has been designed to take you anywhere no matter what. Still, this doesn’t mean you are above the law and can drive on the railway...
It’s true and it happens in Russia, where it seems that owning a big four-by-four automatically grants you traffic-skipping powers. And it looks like the Land Cruiser is exactly what you need to imitate a train and fool everyone you have to go on the railway.

A bystander filmed no less than five Toyota Land Cruiser impersonating a tram and skipping the long row of cars stuck on the road during rush hour. All were coming out from a tunnel designated only for railway vehicles, but that couldn’t stop a Toyota “dead in its tracks”.

Not even the part where the road surface was’t aligned with the railway’s head anymore posed no problem, since the Land Cruiser’s track seems to fit the one of the tram’s. So with a bit of concentration, the car could actually roll on the steel tracks. Still, some of them fell off the rail and those scraping sounds they made don’t seem to be doing any good to the cars’ underpinnings.

Why couldn’t the drivers detour the bad track section through the right side? And even better, why aren’t they using the tram system anyway? It seems a lot faster and cheaper than damaging a Land Cruiser while burning all that fuel.
