The popular Toyota Land Cruiser 4.5 V8 J200 model can be equipped with some big over-engineered brakes recently introduced by Italian brake manufacturer Tarox.
The new brake kit was engineered to cope with much more weight, being suitable even on fully armored Land Cruisers.
Based on two 12-pot calipers, each with four pads and two-piece discs, the kit is described as “the last word in performance braking”. The pack includes all brackets, pads and hoses necessary for the upgrade, having a price tag of £3,900 (€4,512).
Tarox developed this ultra performant brake kit at Fiat’s Balocco proving grounds, on low adherence surfaces and flooded roads to make sure it can stop even the heaviest armored Land Cruiser you can get.
