Toyota made a new move in Japan, and that's how you get to read about the facelifted Land Cruiser 200.
The main addition on Toyota's popular SUV (and we're not talking only about Saudi Arabia here, where the Land Cruise is a bestseller and icon at the same time) is Toyota's Safety Sense P package.
We've been talking for some time about Toyota Safety Sense, but it's worth mentioning that Safety Sense P is a higher-spec version of the Toyota Safety Sense C package, which debuted earlier this year on the Corolla in Japan.
From a visual standpoint, the facelifted Toyota Land Cruiser 200 earns a new grille with three horizontal bars framed by the massive headlights with LED technology, overseen by the muscular hood.
At the back, Toyota wanted to keep the stability and width impression alive. Therefore, the rear license garnish extends across the rear combination lamps, which themselves stretch across the rear door panel to the edge of the vehicle.
The body kit can now be covered in two new color shades, namely Copper Brown Mica and Dark Blue Mica.
In the cabin, designers got their pixel scalpels out and redesigned the center console that now looks more organized and tidy. It also received a new 4.2-inch TFT color LCD screen and six LED-backlit meters.
Clients have four colours at their disposal for decorating the Land Cruiser's interior, including a brown hue and black for the roof.
Engine wise, as some of you might know, Toyota is offering the Land Cruiser in Japan with only one engine option, that being a 4.6-liter V8 petrol-drinking mill that's good for 318 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 460 Nm (339 lb-ft) of torque at 3,400 rpm, managed by a six-speed auto transmission.
As for pricing, Toyota is asking 4,728,437 yen for the entry-level GX variant, but for 6,825,600 yen you can get the top-of-the-range eight-seater ZX version.
