Placing over 5 million hybrid cars on the road since 1997, Toyota has big plans now for fuel cell vehicles, looking forward to gain the same success with this new technology as with the Prius.

"Participating in the Aspen Ideas Festival provides Toyota a wonderful opportunity to talk with hundreds of highly respected leaders and thinkers about issues that impact our safety, our economies and our urban environments," group vice president of strategic planning for Toyota Motor Sales Chris Hostetter said. "Toyota's research and investments demonstrate our commitment to reducing climate impacts and advancing real-world driving safety. As we were telling you last week, the upcoming hydrogen-powered sedan may be introduced in the US in 2014 as a 2015 model, competing in price with a mid-size BMW or the Tesla Model S.
