Long story short, the Hilux will receive an SUV-like cabin with increased front head and shoulder room, seat-height adjustment and tilt-and-telescopic steering.

On the technology side, the pickup truck's interior will host a 'tablet-like' touchscreen, air conditioning, cruise control, headlamp leveling along with a center console box and power windows.

"New Hilux is more unbreakable than ever with a stronger frame and body, new high-torque diesel engines, rugged yet advanced exteriors and spacious interiors that combine modern features with durable designs. Even workers in tough industries like mining, building and farming want the space, ergonomics, technology and ride comfort of the new Hilux interiors - and so do their families," explained Tony Cramb, Toyota Australia's executive director sales and marketing.

Moreover, in SR and SR5 equipment levels, Toyota offers high-grade seat material while the SR5 grade adds power-operated front seats with leather trim. Also, clients receive an air-conditioned box capable of heating or cooling two 600 ml bottles.

Since this is the top-of-the-range trim for the Aussie Hilux, customers will receive a "premium" steering wheel and shift knob and an upgraded instrument cluster with blue lighting.

Also, there's a tougher WorkMate variant for those who put a high price on durability and roughness, fitted with hard-wearing black fabric instead seats of vinyl while the floor covering remains plastic.
