Toyota Hiace Turns Into Changan Zunxing in China

We all know China loves to copy things and rebrand them just to sell them at a much lower price. Guess that waling on a Chinese street is just like waling in Grand Theft Auto - familiar looking cars with strange names, iFruit phones, Starducks coffee shops and God knows what other crazy stuff you might stumble upon.

Like the all new Changan Zunxing that was spied recently there, following to enter production. Oh, wait a second... That is a Toyota Hiace with a different front end.

According to CarNewsChina,Toyota and Changan have no joint venture relationship, but the latter have a powerful software that can copy anything, even if you don’t have a 1:1 scale model.

The Changan Zunxing will be powered by a 1.8-liter turbocharged gasoline engine and it will also have a different dashboard than the Hiace.
