Now that the Toyobaru triplets are out on the market, it’s time to see the carmakers that released them offer hotter versions and while there have been previous talks about a Subaru BRZ Turbo, it seems like the Toyota GT 86 / FR-S may receive a supercharger from Toyota Racing Development (TRD).
TRD is considering enriching the range of aftermarket accessories for the GT 86 / Scion FR-S with a supercharger. The details are limited at the moment, but it seems that this will be dedicated to TRD, which means that we have another clue that Subaru will actually gift the BRZ with a turbo.
Of course, since we’re talking about extremely close models, we don’t see too many reasons for which tuners couldn’t also fit the BRZ with the supercharger, so, if the development gets the green line, we’ll see more tuning possibilities appear.
