New rumors about Toyota working on a sedan version of the GT 86 have surfaced again recently, and automotive manipulator Theophilus Chin took the opportunity to create a four-door version of the popular Japanese sportscar.
The rendering uses an extended wheelbase version of the coupe (word has it the sedan will have a 100mm longer wheelbase), with no modifications added besides the sedan-like green house and the addition of two rear door. It's basically the production-ready car Toyota should unveil sometime next year.
The report from two days ago says the sedan will be powered by the same 2.0-liter boxer engine rated at 200 horsepower, but claims that Toyota could develop a hybrid version based on the powertrain showcased in the Yaris Hybrid-R concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
