Toyota GT 86 Outperforms a McLaren MP4-12C

Sounds crazy right? A budget sportscar that can easily face a supercar... And we’re not talking about a modified Toyota Supra.

However, you can consider the Toyota GT 86 a close relative, a grand child of the mighty Supra, which, like its ancestor, offers a lot for the money.

The video bellow is not showing a stock GT 86 taking on the McLaren MP4-12C, but a bit more race-oriented version of it, tuned by Fensport. Modifications are not that extreme as you might think, as the track car has only a turbo and some ECU reprograming that enables it to boost 335 bhp.

It also has a striped interior, with rollcage, racing gear, lower suspension and slick tires. A pack that costs about £8,000. Seems the deal of the century as the £150,000 McLaren can’t keep up with it in the corners.
