Toyota GT 86 Gets GTR Package [Virtual Tuning]

On sale for almost a year, the Toyota GT 86 is already a successful sportscar. Light and agile, the rear-wheel-drive vehicle can provide loads of fun for its owners, but it can also be used as a base car for tuning enthusiasts.

Toyota FT-GTR rendering
While splitting such a project in our news section is a greatly entertaining, this time we’ll be talking about something a little different: a Toyota GT 86 GTR. Obviously not a real car, this extreme version of our vehicle in question is a very well rendered piece of virtual tuning.

Gifted with flared fenders, carbon fiber parts and air vents all over the place, the FT-GTR (the FT name was retained from the GT 86’s concept version) rendering shows us what the most extreme iteration of this Japanese gem would look like.

Fitted with new and bigger deep dish wheels, the FT-GTR was also imagined using Lexus LFA cues at the rear, including the familiar mesh grilles and the center-mounted exhaust.
