Earlier today we provided you with a fast-paced Toyota GT 86 CS V3 lapping the Nurburgring video. And if that one managed to post a nine-minute run on the famous circuit, here’s one that didn’t managed to do so due to a “small issue.”
No. 533 Toyota GT 86 competing in the VLN 10 (Veranstaltergemeinschaft Langstreckenpokal Nürburgring) got hit by a Renault Clio RS 200 which lost control over a crest, smashing into its left side and spinning him off.

Unlike the Clio that smashed about three times and almost lost its whole right front quarter, the GT 86’s driver had more experience and managed to recover after the first hit on the side railing, resulting only in a minor damaged rear end. If it wasn’t for his reflexes, he could be sharing a platform with the busted Renault to the pits.
