This year, the 41st edition of the ADAC Zurich 24 Hours Nurburgring race will see lots of Toyotas and a Lexus racecars tearing up the 25-kilometer track, with Toyota Motorsport GmbH alone providing seven Toyota GT 86 CS-V3 cars.
GAZOO Racing team, formed by Toyota Motor Company regular employees will bring two GT 86s and a Lexus LFA to the track this year. Toyota hopes that by putting its employees through the paces on the racetrack will give positive feedback to the engineers and technicians in vehicle development in order to build more performance car.
Another team to show up with such racecars will be Toyota Swiss Racing Team, which will enter competition with three Toyota GT 86s in the V3 class.
The 2013 ADAC Zurich 24 Hour Nurburgring race promises to be an action-packed motorsport weekend with over 200 entries to take on the notorious 25 kilometers Nordschleife circuit.
