Among all the tuned cars being showcased right now at the 2014 Tokyo Auto Salon, here’s something that you’ve probably never heard of.
Based on the latest generation Mark X (or Toyota Reiz as it’s known in other Asian countries), Toyota brought a GRMN Mark X concept, which is almost as cool as a Lexus wearing the F badge.
The exterior comes with different bumpers, side skirts, big spoked rims, stabilizing aero fins and a nice dark metallic purple finish enhanced by a thin red stripe running along different body parts. There are no shots of the interior so we’ll just have to imagine that it has some custom upholstery and other red accented trimmings.
Power comes from a 320+ hp 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission sending power to the rear wheels. Other performance parts include a sport suspension, bigger disc brakes and a Torsen limited-slip differential.
