Well, here’s a lawsuit involving Toyota that has nothing to do with sudden acceleration. Instead, the man that sued the company said he got a rash from a Prius.
According to a report from the Courier-Post, Thomas Meyers of Voorhees, New Jersey, claims that the interior of his Toyota Prius v gave him an allergic reaction, manifested through a rash that spead to various parts of his body. Moreover, the man said that his lips and tongue swelled up, causing him difficulties with swallowing and breathing.

The suit accuses Toyota of negligence, but the Japanese automaker said that Meyer’s claims have no merit.

“While we sympathize with Mr. Meyers, we do not believe his claims have any merit, and we intend to defend the safety and quality of our vehicles vigorously in court,” said Carly Schaffner at the firm’s headquarters in Torrance, Calif.
