The concept car was constructed using Toyota’s “Fun to Drive” philosophy and it connects the the driver physically and emotionally to the driving experience.

The physical connection is represented by the steering part, which is done by the driver which has to shift his/her body to intuitively move the vehicle forward, backward, left or right.

Moving to the emotional connection, Toyota envisions an ever-developing driver-vehicle relationship similar to the one of trust and understanding of a rider might have with its horse. The driver and the vehicle can “grow” together and learn from their experiences. The FV2 uses voice and image recognition to determine the driver’s mood, accumulated driving history to suggest destinations and driving skill to assist the user.
