The car that we’ve been waiting to be revealed for at least a couple of years now is close to being revealed at the Tokyo Motor Show in December, but the FT-86 has already been leaked for all to see and enjoy, thanks to some brochure scans that depict the Modellista version and have fallen into the hands of Carscoop from a couple of sources.
This is a sort of JDM equipment package that adds aero bits including a front spoiler, more sporty side skirts a two-piece rear apron and special wheels, all of which won’t be fitted on the standard car.

We don’t know if this is strictly a JDM car, though it probably isn’t. However, you can notice that some of the cosmetic elements have changed, most notably the headlights and front bumper design, which differ from the Frankfurt concept. Round the back, that elongated taillights are gone, and the side profile shows a chrome strip that wasn’t there before.

The most important part of the FT-86 that’s revealed here is the interior that’s never been seen before.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
