Here's the next Toyota Supra, revealed in full at the Detroit Auto Show! OK, that's a big fat lie, but it's close enough, and this concept is more than enough to get us excited 10 years after the death of the Supra.
Just before the 2014 Detroit Auto Show opened its doors, we though SUVs and family cars would overshadow everything else on offer. However, that hasn't happened, as the sportscar from the Big T has everything a motorsport famatic dreams of: engine braces, air vents, a carbon diffuser, center-lock alloy wheels like a 911 GT and a cockpit interior.
It's also got the exhaust pipes of a Ferrari, the taillights of a Lexus IS and has stolen the LFAs lifting wing.
Designed by the Calty design studio, the FT-1 could hint at the sportscar Toyota and BMW are working on together. Expect to see the real car in early prototype form in about a year.
Until then, what you see is what you get, so let it all sink in by checking out our exclusive live photo gallery from the Detroit Auto Show floor.
