Toyota Financial Services (TFS) US leader for 16 years George Borst will retire this autumn, taking the role of Executive Advisor until the end of 2014.
TFS has recently announced that Borst will maintain his current position until 30th of September this year, following to be replaced by Mike Groff who is currently Senior Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Product Development at TFS.
George Borst joined Toyota Motor Sales in 1985 as Corporate Marketing Manager, after which he served as General Manager for the Lexus Division. In 1997, Borst was chosen to lead TFS which grew from a company with $20 million in assets to become one of the nation’s largest and highest-rated finance company. Its total assets are now over $95 billion and employs over 3,200 associates across the country.
