The latest Toyota Yaris is easily the most appealing one made by the Japanese manufacturer to date. However, to make even more so, Toyota is expanding the range of Yaris versions available in the UK, with two new ones, called ‘Trend’ and ‘Edition’.
These two versions will be easily recognizable from others by their blacked out C-pilar - a design trait which does indeed set it apart in a positive way. The ‘Edition’ version is based on the entry-level T2 trim, but gets a few sporty additions, like 15-inch alloys, extra chrome exterior trim and a leather trimmed gear knob. Specced in this trim, the Yaris will set you back £11,695.
The ‘Trend’ version is based on the sportier SR trim and it too benefits from a few unique features, most striking of which are the 16-inch rims and the chrome tail pipe. Also, this particular version is only available with the 1.33-liter petrol engine, which sends power to the wheels via ether a six-cog manual, or Toyota’s Multidrive CVT. In ‘Trend’ trim, the car will set you back at least £13,795.
