The whole “Always Better” theme comes from Toyota’s European brand identity of “Always a Better Way”, aiming to bring smiles on the faces of customers while upholding its responsibilities towards society.

“We’re looking to the future and setting challenging goals that respond to and go beyond customers’ expectations. We are working hard to establish a sustainable business model for our European operations.” said TME president and CEO Didier Leroy. “

"In 2012 we launched the Hybrid version of our Yaris model, and introduced the second generation Auris Hybrid. These cars have become two of our most successful models whilst contributing significantly to the reduction of our fleet CO2 emissions. Their market success has helped us improve our profitability which, in turn, will enable us to continue to contribute to European society. As one of the most innovative companies in the world, Toyota has a lot to bring to European society and we intend to continue to do so with openness and passion.” he added.

The full report and details on the three “Always Better” chapters can be found in the downloadable PDF here.
