Toyota Corolla Remains in the Hearts of the Canadians

Apart from the 2014 Toyota Corolla, people won’t buy this sedan for awesome looks or street rep, but for its dependability, running costs and practicality.
And those over 40 million owners since 1966 is solid proof that Toyota is going the right way with the Corolla, especially with the new bolder and more stylish model.

But until the 2014 Corolla will be available at the dealers, we’ll take another look at the outgoing 11th generation one and what made it so popular.

Being released in 2009 and getting upgraded regulary since, this sedan is still behind its competition when it comes to onboard tech like fancy heated steering wheel or ventilated seats. Still, the latest version with the enhanced equipment pack adds wireless connectivity, a better audio system, power windows and locks, cruise control, remote keyless entry and heated seats. The rest of the interior is just functional and built to last, the same as the 132 hp engine if it’s maintained regularly. And that is why it got sold in those numbers, because it’s a package of functionality and durability, an honest car that will be there even for your grandson to learn how to drive in it.
