Toyota Corolla Altis India Specs Leaked

The 2014 Toyota Corolla Altis dropped its covers for the Indian market this February at the Delhi Auto Expo show, following to go on sale in May. With about a month until then, it looks like someone managed to get his hands on the model’s spec sheets.
Automotive website Carsizzler recently posted these two lists showing us what features the new Corolla Altis will come with next month when it will reach the Indian dealerships.

Customers will be able to buy the new Altis sedan with a choice of two engines: 1.8-liter VVTi gasoline unit making 140 PS or a 1.4-liter D-4D diesel one developing 88.4 PS, both available with 6-speed manual transmissions and an extra 7-speed automatic only for the gasoline unit.

The spec sheets also reveal that the new Corolla will be available in five different trim levels (J, G, G CVT, GL and VL) featuring goodies like brake assist, rear fog lamps, brake assist and a secondary 12V power outlet for the rear passengers. Other options include LED headlights, automatic windshield wipers, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and rearview camera, rear reading lamp and illuminated cup holders so you won’t miss them at night and spill you beverage all over the place.

Price however will come later, when the model goes on sale. Stay tuned.
