The Honda Accord Hybrid has no classic transmission, the Atkinson-cycle engine can be used to physically power the car or the electric motors. Total system power is rated at 196 hp and 226 lb-ft of torque. On the other side, is the Toyota Camry hybrid, which is a bit outdated, but still managing to produce a combined 200 hp and 199 lb-ft all going to the front via a CVT.
