Well, if those two “leaked” photos from last week aren’t satisfying your needs to explore the curves of the Toyota C-HR, the concept has been revealed at the Paris Motor Show 2014 and here’s a batch of live photos to look at.
Despite our thoughts of a Toyota Auris Cross being on the drawing board, the automaker seems to be making a rival for the Nissan Juke. It follows almost the same major lines but thankfully it doesn’t look like a keen frog.

Although the C-HR’s design reminds of Renault a bit, especially at the front, Toyota says this is a sneak peek at the company’s “keen look” and “under priority” design style further development.

This seems to be defined by slimmer LED headlamps, narrower upper grille with a huge space for an even bigger badge, oblique side vents with daytime running lights, sticking-out taillamps and a “diamond architecture” borrowed from the new Lexus NX.

Following Toyota’s “every car has to have a hybrid powertrain” current ideology, the compact crossover spawned by the C-HR concept will be aided by electricity to move, probably coming with a separate motor for the back wheels to provide on-demand all-wheel-drive.

What we hope now, is that the production model will follow the NX recipe and enter the assembly line looking almost like this.
