Looking for a Toyota estate car bigger than the Auris Touring Sports? Well, the other option on the list is the Avensis Tourer if you don’t want to go ballistic and buy a Prius v.
The Avensis Tourer starts at £20,210 and is offered with a 1.8-liter gasoline engine and a manual gearbox as standard. Other equipment include daytime running lights, follow-me-home headlamps, roof rails, body colored electric heated mirrors, air conditioning, 6-speaker audio system with multiple connectivity, leather steering wheel and more.

CarBuyer’s Rebecca Jackson tested the 2013 Toyota Avensis Tourer recently and was pleasantly surprised with the estate’s large boot, which can be further enlarged by simply folding the rear seats. Oh, and the car also comes with a huge front armrest compartment big enough to fit her large handbag.

Except for the suspension that feels a bit wobbly at low speeds, the Avensis Tourer makes a great car for medium-sized families, if you can get past the plain looks of it, however. Check the video bellow for more info.
