Toyota Aqua G Sports Specs and Price Released in Japan

Recently unveiled at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, the Toyota Aqua G Sports will reach Japanese dealerships on December 9th wearing a price tag of ¥2,22 million ($21,809).

Tuned by Gazoo, the G’s features a specially tuned suspension to improve body rigidity as well as a reinforced structure made using a special spot welding technique. Sportiness also gets increased by 17-inch aluminum rims wrapped in high-performance tires.

Visually, the G Sport features a redesigned front fascia, with a very wide trapezoidal grille and L-shaped daytime running lights as well as a redesigned rear bumper and side skirts. Inside, you’ll find leather trimmed armrests, steering wheel, gear shifter and dashboard with contrast stitching, “G’s” badges, aluminum pedals and alcantara trimmed seats.

Powering the Aqua G Sports will be the same Toyota Hybrid System II from the normal new Aqua which can achieve a combined fuel consumption of 37 kilometers per liter (2.7 l/100km or 87 mpg US) according to the JC08 Japanese standard.
