After we’ve seen the Toyota Aqua (Prius c) Air concept earlier, to be showcased at this year’s Tokyo Motor Show, its sister Aqua Cross has surfaced now.
The Aqua Cross, as its name suggests, tries to be a bit more rougher than a normal Aqua. It follows the athletic shapes of the Aqua G Sports, but wearing different headlights and front grille, rides a little higher and it also has dark plastic moldings around the wheel arches, skirts and bumpers.
More “toughening” features are represented by the skid plates, roof rails and a pair of big foglights surrounding the trapezoidal grille. The concept study also comes with some interior modifications, coming with new materials, contrast stitching and a few relocated controls, which you can see in the photos bellow.
