The Toyota Prius c (Aqua in Japan) Air has to be the most fun-to-drive Prius so far, but until we will be able to confirm that in real life, we’ll just have to feed off our own imagination and these photos from the Tokyo Motor Show.
Among the vehicles brought by Toyota to this year’s Tokyo Show there is this very interesting Aqua Air concept, which is basically the Prius c with only two doors, ditched roof and some nicely carved shapes, including new headlights, taillights bumpers and a rounded trapezoidal grille.
The roadster measures 3,990 mm (157 in) in length, 1,690 mm (66.5 in) wide and 1,440 mm (56,7 in) in height, which puts it straight into B segment. Power comes from the same hybrid engine in the Prius c, comprising a 1.5-liter Atkinson cycle gasoline engine aided by an electric motor summing up to 100 hp.
