Toyota used the Goodwood Festival last year to launch the GT 86 model in the United Kingdom and this year will return with two concepts of the renowned sport coupe.
Toyota will bring a whole bunch of famous cars at this year’s Festival of Speed, but the main attractions will be represented by the FT 86 convertible and TRD Griffon concepts which will be showcased for the first time in the UK.
The GT 86 TRD Griffon is a race-prepared car, having a carbon fiber bodywork, strengthened chassis and lots of TRD performance parts, while the FT 86 Open concept is a working study for a GT 86 convertible.
Toyota’s showcase will include the TMG EV P002 electric race car, the mighty Group B Celica TA64 and the three famous Le Mans racecars. Lexus will be there too, with its all-new IS model which will also take the start in the race, as well as with the exclusive LFA supercar.
