The seven-round championship will use TR 86s, racing versions of the Toyota’s GT 86 coupe. The drivers will compete in three races over the weekend, with practice and qualifying taking place Friday, 8-lap races on Saturday morning and afternoon while the final 12-lap race will be held on Sunday morning.

Only TR 86 models built in Auckland by Toyota are allowed to enter the one make series. Specs include an FIA-approved multi-point competition rollcage, adjustable competition suspension, racing brakes, 18-inch Speedline alloy wheels, racing harness, seats and steering wheel and a Motec digital dash to provide the information needed.
