Touratech Shows Aventuro, the New Adventure Carbon Transformer Helmet

Adventure specialist Touratech announces the new Aventuro dual-sport helmet, a lid dedicated to the riders who need versatility and premium protection packed into a single product. The Touratech Aventuro is the result of Touratech’s efforts to offer a premium helmet that can do-them-all when it comes to adventure riding and still look great and feel just as good.

Aventuro was designed with massive input from motorcycle travelers and we can expect it to outperform the competition. The visor is designed with generous air vents which release the air pressure and reduce the neck strain during long high-speed hauls. At the same time, the visor can be extended to offer protection from the sun. A quick pull on the adjustable end and your eyes and face are better protected.

Street, dual-sport, and off-road modes on the fly with no tools

The visor is detachable and can be easily installed when the rider leaves the tarmac behind. The shield is also effortlessly removable and requires no tools in the process. Using goggles with the Touratech Aventuro is really easy. The helmet can change purpose in instants and this spells solid versatility in any scenario.

The vents are easy to operate and they can be closed to keep rain out, while the interior lining is removable and washable, with special cuts to accommodate glasses and a special emergency cheek pad removal system. The Aventuro is DOT- and EC-compliant for complete peace of mind.

No less than 5 liveries will be offered, including a hi-viz option. The shell is made from carbon fiber so we can expect the Aventuro to be light and comfy. No price was offered at the time of writing, but we guesstimate a price tag around $500/€500 on both sides of the Atlantic, in the US and Europe, respectively. The Touratech Aventuro is expected to hit the stores in early 2015, in sizes XS through XXL.
