Sure, everybody likes a well-equipped trailer. But what do you do when you have a well-equipped trailer that comes with its own garage for all your toys? That's what we're going to be discussing here.
What you're looking at is known as the Torque travel trailer or toy hauler from Heartland RVs. If you've never heard of Heartland RVs, not a problem, that's why we're here. Unlike companies such as Winnebago and Airstream which have a long history behind them, Heartland is a fairly new company that emerged in 2003.
As young as this company may seem, don't view the gear it manufactures as being anything less than capable. It's possible you have already seen its Lithium trailer as we've featured it on our site before. If you haven't, just click the link above.
As for the Torque, wow! One thing you need to understand about this sort of trailer is that normally it is built with multiple floor plans in mind; this holds true for the Torque as well. The least expensive of the available options is the T26, which comes in with an MSRP of $45,557. This model includes a dry weight of 7,780 lbs (3,529 kg) and can sleep up to six adults. The most expensive option, coming in with an MSRP of $57,107, is the T32, which has a dry weight of 9,840 lbs (4,463 kg) and can sleep up to eight adults.
The reason why I've brought this piece of hardware to your attention is because Heartland creates each and every Torque floorplan with a garage that can fit ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, or anything else similar in size. Come to think of it, my neighbor’s MINI can fit without a problem at all.
Now, anytime you create a mobile garage for whatever use you have in mind, you also need to include all the necessary tools and features. One of the important aspects to point out is the ramp door, which is prepared to handle 2,500 lbs (1,133 kg) of vehicle driving on it. Also in this space there are fuel and oil resistant rubberized flooring, huge overhead storage areas, and an electric queen bed with convertible sofa.
Mind you, since this trailer has the possibility of seven different floor plans, I'm only going to be describing the two mentioned earlier, the T26 and T32. To check out the exact specifics of all available floor plans available, click here to be transported to the manufacturer's website.
One thing I find odd but enjoy at the same time is the idea of me cooking my dinner while the smell of fuel and grease slowly creeps into my nostrils. To help fight back that smell with whatever you're cooking, a three-burner range and microwave oven are at your disposal. A double door fridge and sink basin with a pull-out faucet are also on board.
Aside from the highly modular dining set and furniture, which act as sleeping areas for guests, there is a bedroom as well. Just so you understand how this team likes to do things, even the least expensive T26 floor plan includes a master suite with king-size bedding and his and her closet space.
The bathroom features aren't too shabby either. Here we can find a full-size standing shower with a glass enclosure, a sink and faucet, a skylight overhead, and even heating and A/C systems.
Because you'll be hauling around heavy and possibly dangerous gear, this mobile home is equipped with multiple safety features such as a smoke detector, fire extinguishers, and an LP detector. To top it all off, it's equipped with two 6,000-lb (2,721-kg) axles.
Personally, whether you do or do not have any vehicles to carry inside this behemoth, it doesn't matter. What matters is that if you need it, it's there, ready, just waiting to give you the next vacation of your lifetime.
