Mercedes-Benz offers carbon fiber interiors on many of its cars. However, tuners with a solid reputation and plenty of creativity are still called upon to make things like this all-black GLE Coupe interior.
If you visit this Moscow shop to have your GLE fitted with an engine mod or one of their famous Inferno body kits, the chances are that you won't leave the interior as it was. The owner of this Sports Activity Coupe decided he doesn't want snakes or alligators covering his cabin, so he went with something race-inspired.
People have yet to come up with something cooler that the carbon fiber interior. It won't save you any weight, but at least the entire world will know that you are rich enough to cover everything in exotic materials.
There's a timeless quality to having a black leather interior with red contrast stitching. It's like a sports shoe that costs $1,000, and even a businessman can wear with pride.
The design is intricate, with quilting elements, ridges, wave patterns, red piping and different stitching techniques. Our favorite part has to be the complex steering wheel, which uses fine perforated leather and a top carbon grip. It's like the perfect summary of what's going on inside the car.
Both the headliner and the carpets are custom-made for this AMG devil. And speaking of carbon, it's been sprinkled pretty much everywhere, including the backs of the seats. Sure, you passengers might bang their needs when to brake violently. But the carbon-fiber surrounds for the integrated headrest screens makes up for this.
We think it's safe to say that TopCar is the definitive tuner for the GLE in Russia, maybe even all of Europe. We don't have a photo of the exterior in the case of this project, but there's an earlier GLE 63 AMG Inferno that fits the sinister look perfectly.
