We already know that the Top Gear trio is heading to India for this year’s Christmas special, but up until now, we didn’t know what they will be driving.
The show crew was spotted by Indian Autos Blog, as Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May with their camera crew have covered the Mumbai-Jaipur journey and arrived in the capital, New Delhi.
We’re taking a guess in the dark here, but the writers of the show must have placed Hammond in that red Mini, Captain slow in the Jaguar XJS and big-man Clarkson in the big-ol’ Rolls Royce with the little Ganesha statue replacing the Spirit of Ecstasy.
An old Austin Allegro 1300 Super is also part of the convoy, which is probably the “should you break down, you are going to drive the worst British-built car in the world” sort of thing.
