Yes, it seems the famous host did come back after reportedly saying that he won’t ever step foot in the country again. Apparently, Clarkson had a bit of a disastrous visit last year but from the looks of it he seems to have gotten over the entire situation, moving on with his work. Moreover, it appears that there might have been a mix-up and an “unidentified man” dining with Clarkson last year, was the one that said “You’re the reason we won’t come back to America” and not Jeremy.

This being said, Top Gear producer Andy Wilman made a statement, saying that “hat comment was made by a halfwit who has absolutely nothing to do with the TV show, and nor is he a spokesman for Jeremy or any of the other presenters.” Whatever might be the case, we’re happy everything was settled and there is no more drama.

The famous TV host had his picture taken along with co-host James May and special international guest Bruna Senna as well as op Gear Festival Sydney hosts, Shane Jacobson and Steve Pizzati with a champion-of-a-vehicle, the McLaren Honda Marlboro. In case you might have forgotten, this is Ayrton Senna’s star vehicle, the one with which he won the world championship in 1988. Their arrival to Australia coincided with the two-day Gear Festival in Sydney, which starts on Saturday at the Motorsport Park in western Sydney, so we’re pretty sure they're going to have their hands full.
