It happened in Greater Manchester, UK, the other day and it was captured on camera by one of the neighbors in the area. The tool thief crashed his car right in front of his home.

The Facebook link includes the full, unedited video – if you’re in the mood for some colorful language and superb display of British creativity with cuss words. The one available below is the clean version, in which you’ll hear a lot of beeps but still get to see the scaredy-cat thief getting a major telling-off from his own victim.

From the looks of it, the thief stole some tools from his victim’s car and then unloaded them into his own. A chase must have ensued, which resulted in the thief crashing into the tree. So not only is he a terrible thief, he’s also not too skilled at the wheel either.

When the video starts, the victim is already unloading tools from the thief’s car and taking them to his own (they look like shovels, by the way). He’s also using the tools to threaten the thief, who’s making sure to keep his distance, while berating him that “some of us have to f***ing work for a living” and that he “chose the wrong car to rob from.”

The thief is focused on keeping his distance, while trying to get the victim to just take the tools and leave him alone. “Come on, man. F***ing hell,” he is heard saying at one point, as if begging the victim to not harm him.

Once he’s done taking back his tools (he makes sure to check and double check into the thief’s car), the victim drives away. The thief also gets inside his battered vehicle and drives off on the pavement, losing a large chunk of the rear bumper before he even gets back on the street.
