Satnav producer TomTom today released its 2012 Summer map, with this update including road changes and Points of Interest (POI) connected to important events across Europe this season.
To give you some examples, we’ll mention fresh stadiums, temporary and permanent event venues and park & rides across the UK, Poland and the Ukraine. Overall, TomTom’s global map has gained 1.5 million km (930,000 miles) of new roads between May last year and May 2012.The upgrades targeted Brazil, Spain, as well as Mexico, Malaysia, Indonesia and Southern Africa. You can get your hands on the new update through the TomTom Map Update Service, while this comes standard on new devices.
