TomTom Introduces New Portable Navigation Devices

TomTom, one of the top providers of location and navigation solutions worldwide is introducing two new model ranges to its portable navigation line, the XL 350 and the XXL 550 series.

The ranges features TomTom’s new EasyMenu, a sleek display and multiple navigation features already introduced on other models.

The EasyMenu user interface offers sharp graphics and an intuitive touchscreen menu that provides quick access to search tools, allowing users to quickly get directions to their destination. All the products include TomTom’s proprietary IQ Routes Technology and TomTom Map Share, IQ Routes provides the most efficient routing for any time of day or day of week, while Map Share allows users to improve the map database of the TomTom community.

Certain devices from the XL 350 and XXL 550 ranges include Lifetime Maps and/or Lifetime Traffic Updates, allowing users to update their maps by downloading new versions every few months.

Additional features on all devices include:
• Maps: preloaded premium maps of the US/Canada/Mexico from Tele Atlas
• MapShare on demand updates
• IQ Routes
• POIs: over 7 million points of interest
• Advanced Lane Guidance
• EasyMenu
