Tom Tom Announces All-New Rider Motorcycle GPS

Basically, the software in the new Tom Tom Rider will allow riders to choose the level of twists and turns they want to ride, and thus create a personal riding experience. Clicking on an area on the map will result in the Rider providing multiple routes according to the rider’s preferences, from the fastest to the most exciting round-trips. Creating and sharing these routes with friends and uploading them to other devices is of course, possible.

Redesigned, yet stylish and rugged

Tom Tom has redesigned the Rider GPS completely, maintaining its ruggedness and stylish lines, so that the unit complies with the hardships of the road, weather’s caprices and still fit elegantly aboard any motorcycle, integrating seamlessly with the vehicle’s lines.

The new Rider offers instant switching between the landscape and portrait modes and the new rotating mount is the perfect complement for this. The portrait mode is perfect for scouting more of the road ahead. The unit is weatherproof, glove-friendly and supports gestures such as pinch, zoom or swipe for seamless rider-GPS interaction. There is no price tag attached to the new Tom Tom Rider GPS, but we know it will hit the stores later this year in April.
