Japanese automaker Mitsubishi has finally show the brand new 2012 Mirage hatch for the global market during the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, where we captured these shots of the lime-green beast. The five-doors small proportions and the front end show a focus toward practicality instead of premium upmarket feel, which is quite a gamble for the company.
It’s much the same story inside, where the design language is supposed to be “simple and clean”, which is a nice way of saying boring. And don’t dare to lustfully look at that leather, because it’s sure to cost a pretty penny.

Powering the Mirage is a brand new 1.0-liter three-pot engine with variable valve timing and a start/stop system. The transmission is a CVT responsible for distributing power to the front two wheels. In Europe, it will replace the Colt, and there’s a rumor going round that it will also be available in America.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
