Ladies and gentlemen, we’re inviting you to take a seat on... Tokyo Motor Show’s floor and enjoy the new entry-level version of the Lexus GS range, the 250 - the example brought by the carmaker here is finished in white, a color that Lexus owners are very familiar with.

The vehicle, which was shown for the first time earlier this month at the China International Automobile Exhibition in Guangzhou promises to offer a decent balance between performance and efficiency.

Under the hood, we have a 2.5-liter V6 that uses tech like Dual VVT-i (variable valve timing) and D-4S direct port injection, delivering 209 hp. The unit, which is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, pushes the sedan past the 62 mph mark in 8.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 143 mph (230 km/h).
