Honda has brought a new interpretation of the four-door coupe concept to the Tokyo Motor Show, in the form of the AC-X Concept.
While its name stands for Advanced Cruiser eXperience, the vehicle uses a plug-in hybrid powertrain comprised of a 1.6-liter four-cylinder unit and two electric motors. The AC-X promises to offer an electric only range of 31 miles (50 km), as well as an EV-mode top speed of 62 mph (100 km/h).

In case the styling looks a bit familiar, we have to tell you that this has been borrowed from the FCX Clarity fuel cell vehicle. The designers have introduced multiple aerodynamic elements (we were most impressed by the transparent wheel covers) in order to achieve a cD of just .21.

As for the interior, this brings an “Automatic Mode Support” that promises to take over and make sure that you travel in the best conditions.
