Today's Heroes Drive a Polaris Slingshot for Free

Without a doubt, humanity is going through one of the biggest challenges it had to face in its entire history. An invisible enemy turned society upside down, and the effects of the ongoing battle are still too horrible to contemplate.

As the fight rages in hospitals, on the streets and in our homes, there are countless examples of people stepping up and, oblivious to the dangers, trying to help others any way they can. Despite the connected world we live in, most of their efforts will probably go unnoticed beyond the people or communities they are serving.

In an attempt to bring to light the stories of the thousands trying to lend a hand during these harsh times, Polaris announced an initiative meant to uncover these unsung heroes.

Because Every Superhero Deserves a Superhero Ride is how the company announced that as of this week and until June 3 it wants to hear the stories of the ones who stepped up. When the period ends, four of these people will be given, as a token of appreciation a free three-month rental of an all-new 2020 Slingshot roadster.

“During these unprecedented times, Americans have had to adapt and stretch to unimaginable lengths,” said in a statement Chris Sergeant, Vice President of Polaris Slingshot.

“Everyday tasks are more challenging. Jobs are significantly more demanding. These are the individuals we want to show our gratitude for, share their story and, in some cases, reward them with a free three-month Slingshot rental. Because every superhero deserves a superhero ride.”

There are no rules to the stories that can be submitted. They can tell the tale of medical workers, first responders, even the grocery worker from your local shop. All that matters is that you see them as heroes and are worthy of recognition.

Stories can be submitted at this link. For more details check out the press release section below.
