Could Toyota Motorsport GmbH (TMG) be for Toyota what AMG is for Mercedes? That’s the question sparkling in every one’s minds after seeing the highly-tuned Lexus TS 650.
TMG started working on a high-performance Lexus LS 460 a while ago and this is what it can do now.
The TS 650 is powered by an unleashed 5-liter V8 engine producing 641 hp and 564 lb-ft (765 Nm) of torque. This enables the 2 ton sedan to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in under 4 seconds and achieve a top speed of about 200 mph (322 km/h).
Looks were not forgotten and the TS 650 looks as mean as it sounds, having a redesigned front bumper, side skirts, new rear bumper with stacked exhausts and diffuser as well as a set of big spoked rims.
With all these performance additions, we say that a full TMG lineup would be pure awesomeness. See the video bellow and then imagine how a TMG IS 350 would be.
