If our memory is of any good, we remember that last March Tesla's Supercharger network was on the verge of breaking the 400 stations limit. Back then, we said Tesla's system is steadily filling the world map like chickenpox, exactly like in the following video.
When we think of timelapses, the first thing projected by our minds has a lot to do with breathtaking sceneries and clouds travelling in the sky as the sun only needs about three minutes to rise and set. With Tesla aficionados, the timelapse concept takes another dimension.

Roughly two and half years have passed since Tesla Motors opened the first Supercharger and the snowball just kept on getting bigger and bigger since. As helpful as numbers might be, we always like our statistics being delivered with a twist.

So when we stumbled upon this timelapse video created by the enthusiastic guys over at Supercharge.info, we thought this is a must-show piece of multimedia.

The video is based on the Tesla Supercharger map and it provides a good perspective on how the high-powered charging network began to 'take over' the world. According to the same map, Tesla currently has 443 superchargers in the world, 20 are in construction and 27 are awaiting permits.

In the USA, Tesla has 194 Supercharger stations up and running, 11 under construction and 16 awaiting building permits. We like to think the Supercharger network is Tesla's most powerful weapon against range anxiety just because 30 minutes of charging time offer 170 miles (274 km) of added range.

The video that compressed 30 months of Supercharger expansion in only two minutes is right below, so feel free to click play and enjoy.
