At this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, BMW came prepared with some of its latest and most special cars ever made. Apart from the i8 that made its UK debut there were also a couple of M4s and one of the 300 special edition 30th Anniversary M5s.
Following a collaboration with the guys from Pistonheads, a special M4 was brought out for this event, done to the specifications chosen by the readers of the aforementioned publication.
Therefore, nothing was standard on this car. On the outside, the Individual Tanzanite Blue color was applied and it was joined by Jet Black wheels and golden brake calipers that tell the story of Carbon Ceramic Brakes.
M Performance parts went all around, from the exhaust you can hear in the video below, to the front splitter and rear diffuser. Inside, Full Individual Black leather was added with Sakhir Orange stitching.
The best part about unveiling this car at Goodwood, though, was that they got none other than Tiff Needell to drive it on the world famous hillclimb.
Since this might’ve been Tiff’s first time behind the wheel of the new M4, a bit of hooning was expected. The Fifth Gear host didn’t disappoint. On more than one occasion he got the rear tires spinning pushing the tail out to the sides and tearing up the tires. It might be a short clip but it’s worth it. Check it out before someone takes it down from Youtube.
