BMW won yet 3 new title in this year’s “Wertmeister” awards from Auto Bild, as the BMW 325d Touring, X3 xDrive20d and 530d Touring proved their worth.
Following the results of market monitoring institute, Schwacke, it turns out that the 3 BMWs will retain their value best over the years, in their respective segments, thanks to their innovative technology.
In the midrange segment, the 325d Touring model came out victorious, with a residual value of 55.1 percent after four years. It’s no surprise though, as its predecessor, the 320d Touring won the same award, last year.
In the “Compact SUV” category, the X3 xDrive20d turned out to hold its value the best, being assessed at 64 percent of the original selling price over the same time period.
Last, but not least, the Luxury Line BMW 530d Touring model posted a similar residual value as the 325d model, at 55.1 percent, being the clear leader of the luxury class.
