This Yamaha R1 Engine Will Leave You Drooling

Wrapping jobs are often related to the automotive world, and even though there are countless motorbikes with awesome custom paint, it's still the bespoke cars that are turning most heads. Well, it appears that, with water dipping and creative ideas, things might change a bit.

They say that, when it comes to arts, the sky is the limit in terms of creativity, and after spotting this Yamaha YZF-R1 engine, we couldn't agree more. The water dipping technology is not exactly new, but recent years brought significant developments in high-definition imaging, and this changed the entire game.

The theme of the print can be, of course, discussed, but doing so would mean missing the point by a mile. The most awesome thing is the paint job itself and the perfect details of the engine graphics.

It is only rarely when we stumble upon engines that are painted completely, and such things are met even less often in the sport bike segment. With the ample fairings covering much of the engine, most of the riders won't consider spending money on engine paint jobs, and it's perfectly understandable.

However, when someone has strong passion for a symbol of some sort, these problems are reduced to minor details, and if that person is lucky enough to meet the right expert, great things happen. In this case, it looks like Ruckus Customs was the right place to go for this V for Vendetta fan.

Judging by the photos, it looks like this guy also owns a Bombardier jet ski, which received the same V-treatment. We'd certainly love to see the entire finished R1 project, as we bet that the fairings look even more spectacular than the engine. Maybe Ruckus will post such photos after the job is done; we'll keep an eye on their website and bring you the goodies.
