This V8-Powered Sleigh is What Santa Needs to Screw Christmas Up

You better start praying Santa Claus doesn’t start with the Northern countries and get his hands on this sleigh or else he’ll never reach your chimney this year. Not that this sleigh can’t fly, but the red fat man will be doing dounuts all night long in a parking lot somewhere in Sweden with a crazy smile on his cheeky face.

That’s because this SnowMonster belongs to Swedish drag racing team Lindberg Bros. It’s built on an old Volvo Duett chassis on top of which they fitted a shell resembling that of a Ford T-bucket. Oldschool radiator and a naked engine come as standard.

Power comes from a massive and massively modified Chevy big-block V8 that runs on high-octane sending over 500 horsepower to the dual Arctic Cat Lynx tracks at the rear via a Chevrolet automatic gearbox adorned with a Hurst shifter.

Steering and front rolling is assured by a combination of ski blades with integrated tiny wheels to ensure maneuverability on both thick, thin and no snow at all. So you can’t really stop this beast.

Don’t know about you, but after seeing this clip, the only present I want now is a Chevy big-block sleigh to scare the neighbors with. Just look at that exhaust occasionally spitting fire. Jingle bells will never sound better.
