Designing your dream boat together with the manufacturer seems like the type of activity that anyone would enjoy. But, while not everyone can do that, we can all admire the result - a custom yacht with sophisticated style accents.
Italian boat manufacturer Benetti gives us a glimpse of their most recent yacht to be launched at the Livorno shipyard. Hawa is the name of the newly-added yacht, presented as a 157 ft- (48 meters) long boat that is completely tailor-made for the owner, a loyal Benetti customer.
Hawa was designed in collaboration with English studio RWD and what set her apart at first glance is the unusual “desert sand” color of the hull, which was one of the owner’s requests. Precious materials, such as various types of marble and leather, as well as high-contrast color schemes, also add to the overall striking effect.
The motor yacht is built with five cabins and is large enough to have 10 guests on board, besides the captain and eight crew members. With two MTU engines of around 1,268 kW each, Hawa has a 4,000 nautical mile range at a cruising speed of 10 knots, and can reach a maximum speed of 15.5 knots.
The main deck was specifically designed for extra luminosity and the best view of the sea. Aside from the spacious master cabin, the owner will also enjoy a VIP cabin with sauna, a private study and 2 wardrobes. Guests will be hosted in the lower deck cabins and everyone on board is invited to relax on the aft part of the upper deck.
The sun deck is a more intimate area, with sliding doors, a large dining table, an inviting sofa and a cinema area. Hawa also has dedicated spaces for sunbathing, fishing and even a gym.
